Writing on a new blog layout! I like this one much better for the fresh and clean design and the color scheme is fantastic. I’m thinking this spring green feel will be the color of my site as soon as I’m able to put something more substantial together. Thank goodness for WordPress blogs and the user-friendly program for someone who just barely gets by like I do *laughs*

In lieu of waiting for new photoshoot pictures, I’d like to follow the example of dear friend and amazing photographer Lydia Chen and post some older photos. These are off an old snapshot camera, my trusty Canon Powershot SD450 and let me tell you, I loved that thing. The 450 now belongs to my dad since he had taken it on various trips and was used to it. My parents are not fans of changing what they’re comfortable with so I gave it to them and I now carry the SD1100 for everyday and friend-filled moments. Like its predecessor, my SD1100 has an amazing video capability even in darker indoor environments but I do think my older camera was much better for indoor shots.

I’m waiting for permission to post the few photos I have of the bride and groom but I can put these up of the environment. One of my best friends married in Lake Tahoe, California in September of 2006 and it was a lovely small wedding with close friends and family. I think it was right before I decided I wanted to get my first digital SLR, years since the last time I used a Olympus film SLR back in high school and early college. These are a few shots I still like to this day :)

Expanding Horizons

I am finally starting to expand my collection of lenses and asking friends if I could take photos, especially that of my friend’s son who is an adorable flirt-in-the-making *laugh* I also need to fix the issue with my domain not forwarding to an existing address so I believe I might need to call my server . . . → Read More: Expanding Horizons
